บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) จัดสัมมนาโครงการ “ CSR แบบยั่งยืนของการบินไทย ” โดยมีนายอำพน กิตติอำพน ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เป็นประธานในการเปิดสัมมนา
นายอำพน กิตติอำพน ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) หมายถึง การดำเนินกิจการหรือดำเนินธุรกิจควบคู่ไปกับการใส่ใจดูแลรักษาสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมภายใต้หลักจริยธรรม การกำกับดูแลกิจการที่ดี และการนำปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงมาบูรณาการ จะนำไปสู่การดำเนินธุรกิจที่ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างยั่งยืน ซึ่งที่ผ่านมาบริษัทการบินไทยฯ ได้ดำเนินกิจกรรมช่วยเหลือสังคมในรูปแบบต่างๆมามากมาย สำหรับการจัดสัมมนาดังกล่าว เพื่อให้พนักงานตระหนักถึงบทบาทหน้าที่ในฐานะพนักงานรัฐวิสาหกิจที่ดีในการแสดงความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และเพื่อกระตุ้นให้พนักงานเกิดความร่วมมือร่วมใจในการจัด กิจกรรม CSR ให้เกิดเป็นรูปธรรมในทิศทางเดียวกัน
ทั้งนี้ การสัมมนาดังกล่าวยังได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน CSR จากหลายๆหน่วยงาน มาเป็นวิทยากรให้คำแนะนำแก่บริษัทฯ อาทิ คุณสถิตย์ ลิ่มพงศ์พันธุ์ ปลัดกระทรวงการคลัง บรรยายในหัวข้อ “CSR คืออะไร ทำไมต้องทำกิจกรรม CSR” ดร.พิพัฒน์ ยอดพฤติการ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันไทยพัฒน์ฯ และคุณอนุสรณ์ แสงนิ่มนวล กรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ บริษัทบางจากปิโตรเลียม จำกัด (มหาชน) บรรยายในหัวข้อ “การกำหนดทิศทางและวางระบบการทำ CSR” คุณวัฒนา โอภานนท์อมตะ รองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท บางจากปิโตรเลียม จำกัด (มหาชน) และเรืออากาศโทคันธนิธิ์ สุคนธทรัพย์ รองประธานด้านธุรกิจสัมพันธ์ บริษัท ปูนซีเมนต์นครหลวง จำกัด (มหาชน) บรรยายในหัวข้อ “กรณีศึกษาและเล่าเรื่องประสบการณ์การจัดกิจกรรม CSR” นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการผลงานและจัดกิจกรรมให้ผู้เข้ารับฟังร่วมสนุกตลอดการสัมมนาอีกด้วย
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently organized a seminar on “THAI’s CSR and Corporate Sustainability” that was presided by Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, THAI’s chairman of the board of directors.
Mr. Kittiampon said that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Sustainability represent the way companies achieve enhanced ethical standards and a balance of economic, environmental, and social imperatives while addressing the concerns and expectations of stakeholders. CSR and corporate sustainability practices may be formulated upon the principle of sufficiency economy, which can be applied towards developing socially responsible business operations.
THAI has implemented several corporate social responsibility projects. Organizing this seminar will help promote good corporate governance and social responsibility among employees. Furthermore, this will generate key driving forces among employees to organize corporate social activities to ensure that business operations, corporate governance, and the sufficiency economy philosophy collectively shapes the organization’s identity and is integrated into the corporate business strategy.
Guest lecturers who participated in the seminar were Mr. Sathit Limpongpan who gave a lecture on the topic of “What & Why CSR?;” Dr. Pipat Yodprudtikan, director of Thaipat Institute, and Dr. Anusorn Sangnimnuan, president of Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited, on the topic “Strategic CSR Corporate Responsibility;” Mr. Wattana Opanon-amata, senior executive vice president for Corporate Administration and Information Technology of Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited, and Mr. Kantanit Sukontasap, vice president of Siamcity Cement Public Company Limited, on the topic of “Case Studies of CSR Activities.”
